The following description of the Patent Claim. The leading feature of my design for a handle for spoons consists in the presentation in outline and relief of Jon Alden and Priscilla in Puritan costume upon the handle near its outer end, the remaining narrow portion of the handle having scroll-like ornamental edges. The figure of John Alden supports a musket upon one shoulder, and the companion figure, Priscilla, carries a book, both figures being depicted in outline ad relief. The remaining narrow portion of the handle is provided with scroll-like ornamentation along its edges.
