Court House, Pittsburgh, Pa. This souvenir spoon (marked Sterling) and made by the Wendell Manufacturing Co. has a gold wash bowl (front and back)with a beautiful pattern handle. The Court House (located in Allegheny County) in the bowl is bright cut with exquisite detail and is an exact reproduction of the building in Pittsburgh (completed in 1888). Images of the Court House are able to be found on the Internet. This wonderful building was illustrated in Harpers Weekly (February 28th, 1885) and it is quite likely that this Harpers Weekly illustration was the visual source for this souvenir spoon.

Price: $48.00 (plus postage/shipping/insurance)
