The Campanian Society, Inc.
is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to the advancement of knowledge in the humanities and the fine arts and in the social and cultural history of Naples and Campania and of the ancient Greco-Roman world. In particular The Campanian Society, Inc.
sponsors activities and programs that are designed to heighten awareness and critical appreciation of the classical humanities, Greek and Roman social history, fine arts and architecture. Activities designed for innovative educators, discriminating travelers seeking cultural enrichment, adventurous adults, energetic retirees and explorers include programs which appeal to anyone interested in the literature, history, archaeology and overall culture of the Greco-Roman world and of ancient and modern Naples and the cities on the Bay.

Educational Materials:
The Campanian Society Educational Materials
include ready-to-use Teaching Packets and a wide array of books, teaching resources, Latin materials, videos and games (all materials tested by qualified teachers) for use across the elementary, middle and high school curriculum.

Travel Programs for the Blind and Visually Impaired:
The Campanian Society
offers educational travel programs for the Blind and Visually Impaired. Our educational travel programs are designed to meet the special needs of our travelers and to provide a rich educational experience unavailable on regularly scheduled sighted trips. Each travel program offers unique opportunities for tactile experiences; on-site lectures, readings and audio-description combined with music, enlarge the total sensory and intellectual enjoyment on our programs. Furthermore, our programs offer unique opportunities for relaxation and socialization. The programs are limited to approximately 12-15 participants. Sighted guides accompany all programs. Tour Programs to Classical Sites:
The Campanian Society Tour Programs are designed for innovative educators and discriminating travelers. Our enriching tour programs offer interdisciplinary explorations into the classical world and into the classical tradition of literature, theater arts, sculpture and painting through the ages. Our comfortably paced carefree programs are regularly praised for their expert intelligent guidance at classical sites and in major museums and galleries. Our overseas adventures respond to a diversified geographical spectrum and are principally concerned with the imprint and influence of Greece and Rome. Limited scholarship assistance (for teachers) is available for those participating in specially designated programs.

Customized Programs for Teachers and Students and Group Travelers:
Campanian Enterprises, Inc.
also provides customized study programs for teachers and students and interested groups who travel under our auspices to classical sites in Italy, Sicily, Greece and Tunisia, and especially to sites in Campania (Pompeii, Herculaneum, Capri, Paestum, Naples, Cumae, Paestum) as well as to Rome and Florence. Experienced planners work with teachers, educators and group organizers to design a program which will meet the special and individual needs of the travelers. Each program is unique and is designed to your specifications. All you need to do is provide us with a list of things that you would like to see and to do and we will organize your entire program (transatlantic airfare, lodging, all arrangements for site visits, special guidance by expert archaeologists, art historians and museum directors).
