Disney World and Cape Canaveral
Where Dreams Come True

January 27 - February 2, 2004

Imagine a vacation filled with fantasy, exploration and discovery; where the imagination runs wild and enchantment surrounds you at every turn. Join us as we explore the wonderful world of Disney at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Also included will be a day trip to Cape Canaveral.

Many people are surprised to learn that Walt Disney World is not a theme park, Instead, it’s a huge complex of assorted diversions: The Magic Kingdom; Epcot; MGM Studios; Animal Kingdom. Walt Disney World covers 43 square miles – twice the size of Manhattan or Bermuda, 60 times larger than Monaco, and just a shade smaller than Nantucket or Liechtenstein. The sheer enormity of Walt Disney World (27,400 acres) is staggering — some have called Walter Disney World the 8th Wonder of the World!

What most people imagine to be Walter Disney World — the Magic Kingdom — is actually just a small part of it ( a mere 98 acres). In Magic Kingdom, dreams do come true. Here, we will encounter Cinderella, Peter Pan, Dumbo, Davy Crockett and Pinocchio; it's one of those magical places so full of echoes, allusions, and half-memories as to be almost metaphysical.

Epcot — designed to promote knowledge — covers everything from dinosaurs and energy to the cultures of various nations and is more like a huge world's fair than an amusement park, a subtle blend of the entertaining and the edifying. Future World, anchored by the 17-story silver geosphere known as Spaceship Earth focuses on discovery and the fascination of science; in World Showcase, one can tour a good part of the world, (11 country to be exact) minus jet lag, via exhibition pavilions that represent nations around the world. Encounter tricky trolls on a Viking expedition; ride a balloon over France; journey through the poetic mountains of China; stop for pudding at the Rose & Crown.

In Disney's Animal Kingdom (five times the size of Magic Kingdom), we will visit the Oasis, filled with the aroma of exotic flowers, and encounter miniature landscapes of streams, grottoes, waterfalls and glades fringed with banana leaves and jacaranda.

Disney-MGM Studios blends theme park with fully functioning movie and television production center, breathtaking rides with instructional tours, nostalgia with high-tech wonders; here, we will encounter Hollywood Boulevard with a magnificent replica of Grauman's Chinese Theater and Animation Courtyard which houses the magic of Disney Animation, Peter Pan, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Voyage of the little Mermaid and Sounds Dangerous — a multifaceted demonstration of the use of movie sound effects.

Each day of the program, we will visit one (or more) of the above listed areas of Disney World. We will have the opportunity to revisit some of the areas more than once; there will also be time to enjoy the pool at the hotel (Disney's All-State Sports Resort). Special arrangements are in place so that we do not have to stand in any lines during visit. All this (and much more) awaits you on this program to Walt Disney World. — where Dreams Come True!
